Clay Aiken Was Always "Out"?

by Brian Tuck

clayaikenClay Aiken has recently come out saying he’s always been "out" and was never in the closet. He’s receiving criticism for that statement due to accusations he has denied being gay in the past before his 2008 coming out to People Magazine.  In an interview with the Georgia Voice, he mentions that he was out to colleagues in Spamalot and that everyone who knew him closely were aware of his sexual orientation.

Spotlight On Natalie Portman

Brian Tuck

natalie-portman-black-swan-600x950We put the spotlight on Natalie Portman, basking in the buzz surrounding her box office hit Black Swan following a year hiatus from acting. She’s back in full force with her other movie in theatres as well, Friends With Benefits, co-starring Ashton Kutcher and was nominated for a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award.

Expecting her first child this year with choreographer Benjamin Millepied, who she met while filming Black Swan, it truly is her year to shine.  Not only is she a famous actress, she’s a good one. She’s someone who likes to keep it real, doesn’t get lost in all Hollywood hype and keeps her head on her shoulders instead of vying for the world’s attention.natalie-portman-black-swan-sexy

She even took time off between films to obtain a degree in Psychology

Chris Colfer Takes Award For Best Supporting Actor At The Golden Globeschriscolfer

We put the spotlight on Chris Colfer from Fox hit series Glee who won  the Best-Supporting Actor award in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made For Television at the Golden Globes on Sunday evening.

Not since Clare Danes' 1994 teen drama My So Called Life, where Wilson Cruz played openly gay teen Rickie Vasquez, has there been such a spotlight on an openly gay teenage character.

Not so bad for the 20 year old actor who co-stars in the hit Fox series alongside Jane Lynch, Mathew Morrison, Lea Michelle and Jayma Mays to name a few. Born in 1990 in Fresno, California, the actor originally auditioned for the role of Artie, but producers were so impressed with him they wrote the part of Kurt Hummel for him.
